dead horse (original painting) FRAMED
22.5 X 34 acrylic and oil stick on black heavy stock.
dead horse.
how often we find ourselves at th end of dead roads, miming th empty flailings of ceremony with a dead spirit, beating a dead horse. but do not despair! oh ye of self doubt, staggering in th darkness of this Age-of-the-Multitasker.
how could we ever rise again stronger and harder if we don’t realize that we are pursuing futility?!
no, really, I’m asking. pfffff I dunno, we’ll leave that to th philosophers. sometimes a guy just wants to draw a horse skul.
for this work I used a new kind of paint stick, instead of my usual oil stick, in my media arsenal. adding a degree of freshness and THE NEW to my creation of this work whose theme is redundancy and stagnation; ironic contrarianism is a fundamental within my praxis of Chaos Magick. Satanism embraces th spirit of th cracked villain, th Great Adversary is partial to a bit of Luciferian good humor.
