tentacles of th Illuminati. this is th 7th painting this year in my Holes series. you might say it’s also a continuation of my summer-of-fun©️ attitude, cause I’m still getting a little playful with this one. this is th first time I have used a constructed idea from our baseworld reality, namely th Illuminati, within th Holes realm. I present Holes metaphorically direct, as abstract as it may seem at times. th dimension of Holes is a 1:1 of our reality. th point I’m trying to get to is that while there are tentacles of power all around us, sucking and consuming, sticking to possessions and entities; never to let go, I do not believe that they are th same as whatever YouTube videos are calling The Illuminati these days. I don’t believe in that. and I don’t want to degrade my work by confusing it with such, because Holes series is my most important work.
do you want to know th truth? I know that this is social media and truth is a cardinal sin, but if you can believe me, I was sitting around having a smoke and I thought “those squid have a triangle shaped head, what if I put a big eyeball in there like th All Seeing Eye! ah man, with th tentacles!” simple as that. here we are.
th tentacles of power, th hypno disks that distract us; they engulf us. those with vision are singular and isolated, they do not condense into structural strength. where does Here begin and There end? everything is in a constant state of consume.
