this is an outake, produced for The Satanic Temple’s Third Tenet group show, at The Salem Art Gallery in Salem MASS.
TST’s Third Tenet is “one’s body is inviolable and subject to one’s own will alone” this work consists of 2 paintings, and they really do belong together, might be described as a diptych of sorts; this work spotlights th images associated with Rule. a Rulemaker is an image of death, a Rulebreaker is an image of th lightbringer, Lucifer.
these pieces were produced on BLk heavy stock but they have a layer of high texture spraypaint below th composition. ultra matte to make th paint stick really pop.
